DC642. Confederate cast I infantry button in outstanding dug condition, the face has a strong I and an even, medium brown patina with green high lights around the rim, the reverse is equally fine
DC641. North Carolina one piece starburst button in good dug condition, as usual it's missing the shank, dug in Fort Fisher, NC area
DC640. nice Virginia coat button in very good dug condition, the face has good detail with gold high lights, no pushes or damage, the reverse has the shank which is slightly bent over, RMDC back mark, but difficult to see the maker
DC638. Confederate script I infantry button in great dug condition, the face has an even brown patina and no pushes or damage, the reverse is in equally fine condition with a straight shank and a good S Isaacs Campbell & Co / London / 71 Jermyn St back mark, it is a little faint but completely visible
DC635. here's a rare button, a Mississippi militia, 21mm, the face features a beveled star encircled by MISSISSIPPI, it has no pushes or damage, all the letters are visible, but a little faint, the reverse is channeled, a Confederate local without a backmark, the shank is MIA, very nice example of a scarce button
DC633. Confederate Infantry lined I button in good shape, the face has a small push, good lines on the I, the reverse retains the shank, nice button
DC622. Confederate script I infantry button in good dug condition, the face has a dark brown patina, no damage but it does have a small push in the center, the reverse has a shank that is pushed down, displays well
DC621. Confederate artillery A button in good dug condition, the face has a strong A, no pushes, a couple of flea bites on the edge, has a dark brown patina, the reverse has a good shank, I can't make out the back mark
DC575. beautiful Confederate Artillery button in excellent, non-dug condition, face has the narrow leg A and retains it's gold gilt, the reverse has a straight shank and a * H T & B * MANCHESTER back mark, great example
