EW1005. 1850 officer's sword in very good condition, the blade is full length at 31.5" long, it retains most of the bright finish but has begun to darken, it has good floral and shield engraving on each side, free of nicks or damage, the ricasso has a flower and the obverse has a panel for the seller's name or a presentation engraving, the brass hilt is also in great shape with good detail, has the original eel skin wrap and wire braid, the scabbard is MIA, displays well
