DR4004

Model 1840 Musician Sword
$225

DR4004. Model 1840 Musician sword dug at Chancellorsville, measures 21.75" long with 17" being the blade which has heavy pitting, but is strong and stable, the hilt has taken a severe blow that tore away the pommel cap and the the end of the lower quillon, the end of the tang is bent at a 90 degree angle and there is a corresponding notch torn into the grip, I can't imagine the pommel cap being torn away by anything other than a bullet or artillery hit, it is out of a well known collection, great dug weapon with a lot of character
